After a rush to see projects completed at work, saying goodbye to two friends who are moving, and taking my first ChFC test (and passing, thank you very much!), I am ready for 'holiday'. My flight was ok, except for Super Annoying '...the eighth time I went to Bali'...Blah Blah Blah Guy who sat behind me. I sat next to a Scottsman who is now American and was returning home for his father's funeral. Despite being sad, this guy was awesome. His job is to travel the world to 'discover' drugs to bring back to America for testing, and he was super proud of his son, who decided this year to chuck his big man on campus, soccer star, somewhat toolish existence at Pitt to go to South Africa and take care of orphans with AIDS. Very cool. N ow I am in Manchester, a very industrious town, where I had a very yummy meal and watched the endless rain outside. Tomorrow, I head to Nottingham to meet up with Robin Hood, or maybe yummy Guy of Gisbon.

Jenn, Glad you arrived safe and sound. If you see Maid Marion be sure to give her my e-mail address and your Mom is very interested in Friar Tuck. She thinks he's hot...hot...hot. Love you The 'rents
I know you said you were too much of a wuss but you have to have some Whiskey while you are there. I am sure if you tell them you are a wuss they will help you with perfect pairings to ease you into the wonderful world of Whiskey!
Jenn --- Glad you are safe and sound. We miss you already! Have fun and don't forget to research the financial services markets of Scotland. :)
Glad you made it, although I do not approve of your use of the word "holiday". Just because you are across the pond does not give you permission to go Madonna on us :)
